Acrylic on canvas board 9x12 I haven't done one of these in years. A friend of mine Mike Murphy took a photo of me in the kitchen after our weekly Saturday morning breakfast. Since I had just finished 2 other portraits of both Mike aka Merf, I thought it would be a good time to do a self portrait. Aside from the technical issues the whole concept of a self portrait is just weird to me.
I had to completely separate myself from any emotional contact, or so I thought.
It came off a little more intense than my original ide of what would happen.
Here are the three of us together.
